Electroporation is a phenomenon in which the permeability of the cell membrane is increased through external pulsed electric fields with a duration of nanoseconds to milliseconds and amplitudes of hundreds to thousands of volts/cm. Cell membrane permeability is caused by the accumulation of induced charge in the membrane or transmembrane potential, and increases the permeability of the membrane to ions and macromolecules. This phenomenon is performed by the electroporation device, and the sample is placed in the cuvette.
- Electroporation cuvette is available in 2 mm and 4 mm dimensions.
- Electroporation cuvettes are compatible with most common electroporation systems.
- They are sterilized by gamma rays and individually packaged.
- Electroporation cuvettes are made with precision and high quality, so that experiments and research have high efficiency.
- Pars Trava disposable electroporation cuvettes are designed for use in all types of cells such as bacteria, yeast, fungi and mammals.
