Among these, bone and soft tissue tumors present particular difficulties, sometimes leaving amputation as the only viable option. This report details the case of a 27-year-old female patient with a persistent right elbow tumor who, after years of unsuccessful treatments, achieved remarkable results through electrochemotherapy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Challenge of Treating Bone and Soft Tissue Tumors
<\/strong>Conventional treatments for bone and soft tissue tumors don\u2019t always yield positive outcomes. In cases where standard therapies fail, minimally invasive approaches like electrochemotherapy can serve as effective alternatives. For this patient, the method not only alleviated pain and restored mobility but also prevented the need for amputation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Electrochemotherapy, combined with electrical currents and localized chemotherapy, directly targets tumors while minimizing side effects. This approach is particularly valuable for patients unresponsive to traditional treatments or those ineligible for surgery. Below, we present a successful case treated with the Pars Tarava electrochemotherapy device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Patient History<\/h2>\n\n\n\n


The patient, a 27-year-old woman, had been suffering from a right elbow tumor since the age of 13. The growth caused severe pain and significantly restricted elbow movement. Over the years, she underwent multiple treatments, none of which provided substantial relief. Before considering electrochemotherapy, her medical team recommended amputation\u2014a suggestion she refused due to its psychological and physical repercussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Initial Consultation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n


The patient sought treatment due to debilitating pain and complete loss of elbow mobility. After a thorough examination and diagnostic tests, the medical team opted for electrochemotherapy\u2014a minimally invasive yet effective approach for bone and soft tissue tumors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Treatment Sessions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n


The patient underwent four electrochemotherapy sessions using the Pars Tarava device on the following dates:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
